Are you looking for ways to serve or volunteer in your community? Faith in Action is one way you can get involved with your community and a local church. Through the Faith in Action campaign your local church will partner with charities, community organization, and local schools to provide help on needed projects. Whether it’s picking up trash, painting over graffiti, helping at a soup kitchen, painting classrooms or landscaping, your assistance is valuable!  Check out the Roster of Churches to see if there is a church in your area that participates in Faith in Action or check out our list of City-Wide Faith in Action experiences happening around the country. Some churches customize the name of their Faith in Action event to fit their own church culture. We encourage groups and churches to organize their Faith in Action service day to take place on the National Faith in Action Sunday October 10, 2010.
