Step 1: Decide how your church might like to engage in Faith in Action. [Serve, then worship] [Worship, serve, then return] [Or, do it on a weekend].
Step 2: Your church will want to select tools to: Prepare your members, create excitement, and invite your community to participate.
Step 3: Establish a timeline for your campaign - Refer to the Planning Guide to help you.
Step 4: Launch your Faith in Action Campaign - and watch God work in amazing ways!

Check out the Steps to Success and Timeline to see an example of how to structure your event. Each church is unique and will have a different timeline. It is suggested that churches promote the event to the community one month prior to the Faith in Action Sunday and at least two weeks before the start of the 4 week campaign to the congregation.

I saw that on the homepage there is a box called “How to Get Started”. That helped me. But I am wondering - can someone email me some tips on how to do this type of event with an elderly congregation - we have struggled with ideas. Thanks,
Pastor Mike

These are great training videos, thanks for posting. There are so many ideas and suggestions one could implement, faith in action is really helpful this way. Would be nice to hear some inspirational success stories from church members on this board. Currently Im on the lookout for a good church.
